A writing-for-healing group for Black women working in White spaces.
If you are experiencing anxiety, fear, frustration or isolation as the one or one of a few Black women in your department, this group is for you. We will co-create a space for sharing and connecting over common experiences. Using the power of artistic expression in community, you'll explore the impact of racism and oppression on Black women’s psyche, and emerge with greater self-awareness and hope.
Facilitated by Robin D. Stone, LMHC of Muse & Grace Mental Health Counseling, we'll use literature and lyrics to explore stories of self-love, striving, thriving and more.
Topics covered include:
Power and leadership
Imposter syndrome
Finding your voice
Forging alliances
