Are you feeling stuck or struggling in your relationships? Or wondering how exploring your story could lead to a more meaningful life? Therapy can help you gain insight, understand and transform limiting beliefs, and cultivate a sense of freedom and resilience.
Choosing to go inward—facing fears, doubts, and uncertainties—is one of the most courageous steps you can take. In therapy, I offer a supportive space where we can examine and reshape the narratives that define you, bringing greater clarity, safety, and purpose. Each story you carry is a unique map of who you are and the path ahead.
Growing up in a culture and family where mental health was rarely acknowledged, I realized how essential it is for everyone to access mental wellness, free from stigma and barriers. Investing in your mind, body and soul is a profound commitment you deserve to make for yourself. My path to becoming a therapist was a calling that led me to my own healing and a renewed sense of meaning. This journey has been both challenging and empowering, and it's one I am honored to walk with you.
With a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College and six years of experience as a social worker, I bring a deep understanding of how our backgrounds and lived experiences shape our emotional well-being. I focus on navigating issues such as relational challenges, difficult family dynamics, anxiety and stress, intimate-partner violence, trauma, and more. My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and person-centered, integrating cognitive-behavioral techniques to empower you to reshape behaviors and build resilience.
An attachment-focused, trauma-informed approach acknowledges how our earliest interactions shape our current relationships and emotional patterns. Using cognitive-behavioral techniques, I help you become aware of and transform thoughts and behaviors that may hold you back, while also ensuring your emotional safety. I’ll also encourage self-care practices to help foster fortitude and growth.
I provide a safe, affirming space for individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds to explore and affirm who they are. Whether you’re experiencing stress from global events, grief from a loss, or the uncertainty of change, I am here to provide a safe space for you to process and find understanding. My focus is on helping adults navigate complex challenges rooted in family dynamics, particularly those who experienced parentification in childhood. Together, we’ll explore your feelings, heal wounds, and build resilience, creating a path toward peace, stability, and a more fulfilling, balanced life.
When you're ready to start your journey, I’ll be here to support and guide you toward healing, self-discovery, and realizing your hopes and dreams.
